BRP,is it possible to bring an atv across the border...say U.S to Canada and have a warranty?
If you have your bill of sale to prove your purchase date you should have warranty for a warrantable repair.I am wondering the same as I just bought an '08 Outlander out of the US and after reading the warranty info in the manual there is NOTHING that indicates that I don't have a warranty.
This is good to know Jaker800 as I just got my Outlander from the US and when I called BRP for my recall clearance letter the woman tried to tell me that I had voided my warranty the second I crossed the border. Did she ever back pedal on that when I informed her I have a US and a Canadian residence.I spoke to my dealer about it and he said they (Lakeland Power Sorts) would warranty any machine from the states, He said that BRP wont match prices with the states so why should the customer suffer? The dealers make their money off of warranty work and extras so why wouldnt they.
