When I mentioned to Marc Lacroix of BRP that the seating position on the Spyder was more aggressive than I expected, he gave me an interesting perspective.

The seating position of the Spyder is very well thought out to provide optimal rider input. The Spyder really does react well to rider influence while corning. The seating position is very similar to that of a PWC and a snowmobile...

Very cool...Thanks for sharing. Makes perfect sense. Really shows the styling similarities between the 3 as well. Mebbe their engineers can design a REAL James Bond machine and combine the three designs into one!

Ya know, my husband noticed something else regarding the seating position. It appears to be the same position as those ergonomic computer chairs they sell. This must be a better position all around for you body for extended periods of time. Just a thought.

When I look at a picture of me sitting on the Spyder and a picture of me sitting normally in a chair, I have my legs slightly back just like sitting on the Spyder. I ma wondering about the handle bar riser. Will wait to see if anyone gets it and if it makes a big difference
