Hmm,

Yellow is my prefered color, although,, the dealer put them in for either color for quicker picking. If it comes in as moon silver, I plan on having it painted metalic candy apple red!!!

touring windscreen
fog lights
xeon lights
passenger back rest
knee guards
weather proof cover
tank bag

Add ons we are doing:
under bike lighting
aux lights painted same color as body to be mounted on the fender
replacing yellow / red side reflectors with actual yellow and red lights
possible paint to metallic candy apple red
ISO grips
possible touring pegs,,, although on the demo models, some work will need to be done to secure them correctly.

Anybody else??

Wheel Trim Kit
Hindle Exhaust
Caliper Trim
Touring Windshield
Side Panel Trim Kit
Rear Sport Rack
Adjustable Backrest
and finally...the Custom Seat Skin in Blk&Yel
Just could'nt see dropping $1,300.00 on the Xenon Lighting System. Wanted it but too much $$$

Mine will come all stock. I can get dealer prices on the accessories so I'll add them later myself. I think I'll wait for an aftermarket company to come out with a new exhaust...both the stock and OEM replacement are ugly !!

 I ordered mine in Yellow. Options ordered are as follows: Performance exhaust, side panel trim, mono seat cowl in yellow, adjustable backrest, and custom seat skin in yellow and black.
Is there a detailed catalog of extras online yet?

I'm not exactly sure what the side panel trim is or what a mono seat cowl does. I'm interested in the back rack but am not sure why it costs $300. Most of the options are clear to me. These aren't.

Will there be an online catalog at any point?

Had a question regarding the options and my local dealer is uncertain of the correct answer. On the BRP.Spyder web site, as you select the options of interest. I noticed that when selecting the (Back Rest), the (Rear Rack) also appears.
My question is, "Do we need the Rear Rack in order to use/install the Back Rest ???

The rear rack would be a nice addition but personally, $399.00 for such an extra is pretty pricey to me. I would prefer to skid that extra if possible.

I thought the price of the xeon lights was crazy.

It would also be nice if the passenger backrest would fold down.

I ordered mine stock, but will add the backrest, cargo bag, and taller windshield.

I would bet you can get aftermarket xeon lights for 1/2 the price within a year.

A stereo system will be a must also... along with bluetooth helmets, etc.....

"XENON" lights. xenon, also known as HID lights.
I know you can get aftermarket HID lights for about $500.00, but they only work to replace normal "reflector" style headlight bulbs. Since the Spyder has Projector beam headlights, it would take some serious customization to make aftermarket HID's work.... cuz youd haveta get some reflector buckets in there and get rid of the magnifying-glass projector lenses...

i really wanna get rid of that big huge muffler, but i'll wait till the aftermarket exhaust companies come up with some other options that actually make power. Gotta see a dyno sheet, otherwise all youre changing is the sound. maybe shed a coupla pounds....

As soon as it gets here, I'm changing mine to red - upgrading the wheels and headlights. I've been lucky enough to get over 600 miles of seat time!
Welcome to the site. With 600 miles of seat time, you are likely the most experienced Spyder rider we have! Can you give us your "long-term" evaluation?
