we got our 400 to wheelie once. too bad it wasnt a great photo op. we came out of a trail that was kinda steep and the front came right up

How to do a wheelie on flat ground?? Low range and 4X4??

I just gas it in High. I nver have tried a wheelie in Low.

Depends on the bike's power. If it is something like an 800 (Outtie or Gade), the problem is trying NOT to wheelie. On smaller cc bikes, heres a tip. Set the rear shock preloads very soft, the fronts hard. Put it in 2wd low, get rolling about 3-4 mph, then jam on the front brake until the nose dives, then release the brake, mash the throttle, throw your weight back, and pull on the bars. From there, it's talent and balance, dude.

The easiest way to pull a wheelie is to put it in 2wd low, stand up to get the weight off the rear tires hit the gas hard and once the high revs kick in and tires are about to stop spinning..sit down and a slight pull of the bars and your up and riding a wheelie...the harder part is finding the balance point. Im sure anyone can do it with a 400...i have the 330 and can do it easily.
