The silver one should be $15,300 + tax and tags in your state, the yellow should be $400.00 more, any more is getting ripped off. You need a new dealer

I here that some people are getting some ridicules OTD prices. Some are getting 18,500 to 21,000. To me this seems a bit high. I here some dealers responding with there assembly guy don't work for free but If BRP can't fit 2 side by side in there trucks it is telling me that they must be already assembled. I understand tax, freight & setup, tags, etc., But at those prices it seems kind of steap. Im wondering if anyone here knows what there OTD price is?![]()
...and frieght and possible set-up chargeThe silver one should be $15,300 + tax and tags in your state, the yellow should be $400.00 more, any more is getting ripped off. You need a new dealer
nothing would get the price to 18,000.00 to 20,000.00 accept a BRP price increase...and frieght and possible set-up charge
Understand...just saying that freight and set-up charges may be on top of MSRP, tax and tags.nothing would get the price to 18,000.00 to 20,000.00 accept a BRP price increase
Mine was 14,999 + 500 setupHere's what I come up with:
Cost of Spyder = 14,999.00
Setup = 1,000 (should be closer to 500.00)
Tax of 7.75 in my area = 1162.42
Total without shipping = 17161.42
I'm sure that's what my setup cost will be as well.Mine was 14,999 + 500 setup
I would agree that there could be a bit of "cushion" added to those prices but normally a dealership has to pay to get the machines shipped and assembled. Documentation fees are how some finance people make their commission and get paid for doing the credit applications. If a dealership doesnt out right charge for freight and PDI then they are probably taking it off the MSRP (AKA their profit). Kinda like a furniture place advertising "Dont pay the taxes this weekend!" Someone has to give the government its share. The point is that in MY opinion these are real costs but the added "Freight and PDI fee" may not reflect the exact dealer cost of shipping and doing the pre-delivery inspection/assembly.Thats a good price, I paid about the same.
FYI, just for anyone that hasent worked at a dealer...."doc" fee's, "assembly" and usually freight are made up costs....
