I'm right there with you. This whole waiting and not knowing thing really does suck!!!! You are not going to get a straight answer from your dealer or BRP directly. The dealer really does not know when they will arrive despite what they may tell you and BRP is not about to commit to any kind of time table. The ONLY option is to wait.violator,
Thanks for responding it seems like each dealer has a different date. That's why I feel that BRP should at least provide production dates.
I called BRP to ask about the VIN vs delivery date and this is the email I recvd.Kinda like me waiting for snow.

This is a question you can ask them this Sunday's Live Chat a BRP representativeI too am sick of waiting, I put my deposit down in February, My dealer has no info, BRP keeps them in the dark as they do us. The spyder is the coolest thing I've ever ridden but I wish I never started this thing with BRP, I lost most respect for them, I believe they can give us a production date and just don't. I don't get it, they have a large investment here, if they sour us, the ones that bought, the whole project could toilet. I mean face it, the spyder is cool but for $15,000 so are many other bikes. If I didn't have a bike to ride while waiting I would sell out. My dealer has been the best, I really believe BRP is keeping everyone in the dark and this alone would put a stop to future purchases from them. I like to be informed and I don't mind waiting if I know what's going on. I hope BRP is checking in on this site and has some sort of response. I've been riding for more years than most BRP employees have been breathing, I will give the spyder more exposure then the demo program has and ever could, I ride every day, everywhere, those that know me generally buy on my recommendation, I like the engineering ideas at BRP but there way of doing business sucks, I would go elswhere if I had to start over. How's that for a vent? I do mean what I said.
I'm guessing the guy at the other end of the phone at BRP is telling you all that he knows. I personally want my Spyder to be "right" the first time around and hopefully that is what BRP is trying to accomplish.I would just like the guy at the other end of the phone at BRP to tell it like it is and not beat around the bush. I can't wait to get the spyder.
I guess the point I was trying to make is that it would be nice if BRP could at least give us a status as to where they are in the production phase. The wait would be be easier to take if I knew what was going on.We saw one here north of Toronto yesterday in what looked like production form with Florida plates on it. Don't know if the guy drove it all the way here or if it was a demo. Anyway I didn't see the guy riding to ask the questions.
