Just placed an order. #1!!! But...

I just ordered my silver/black Can-Am Spyder and am #1 on the list which is great! But I was originally going to get the optional "SES" Sequential Electronic Shifter instead on the stock manual one, but it's not available until June of 08' my salesman told me. So I'm just going stock, save $1,500 and get the rest of the options. I'm taking a motorcycle course early June so I might as well get the manual and be the first in my area (October 1st extimate) with one!

Congrats Rachmunas, welcome to the site and to the spyder club, I put a deposit on one of the first 600 to be released in February. I went to the unveil and rode one, The spyder is the coolest thing I've ever ridden. It seems like BRP did thier homework on this one, the fit and finish was top shelf. I can't wait to get mine.

The only question is how come you are only the first one? I ordered mine 3 weeks ago and I was number 8.....

Well, I live 20 miles north of Chicago. I tried a Wisconsin dealer first, but they had all the deposit's filled for October. I didn't want to wait until it get's cold again. So I tried 2 Michigan dealers hoping to get the first batch of Spyders in. One of them is sold out until next Spring. But the other one got me #1 on the list a few days ago. It's a non refundable deposit though. But they have a sweet website and store it looks like! Plus I'm familiar with the area and it's real nice so now worries!
