I ordered mine from Leaders in Kalamazoo. They first thought that I would get it in March... but then before I left that day they said the inventory showed that I would get my Silver one in January.

I am from just outside of Flint. Anyone else a Michigander here and plan on touring our beautiful state on their new Spyder. Both my husband and I order one, his in yellow, mine in Silver. I hope to hear from other owners and maybe have some tours or rides, when the time comes.

When did you order yours? Did someone cancel an order? Just curious as to how it got moved up a few months. Either way I'll bet even if it is cold out there, you will be riding it at least a little bit.I ordered mine from Leaders in Kalamazoo. I'm in Battle Creek... you know.... BC.... the Big City.....Danimal where do you live? I go to leaders all the time!
It is a very small world. I was born in Battle Creek. We lived there for a short time. In second grade I went to Prairieview. My mother graduated from Lakeview back in 1960. I still have family there but rarely see them. Some of my fondest memories are of Sullivan's Ice Cream Parlor on Capital Ave., which is not longer there. As a kid I toured that Kelloggs plant so many times I could have given the tour. Wow, what memories. Maybe when I have my Spyder, I'll have to tool on down that way.No i did not order one from there. What a small world im from Battle Creek also! Yes it is a big city haha.
im in the mitten, just dont have a spyder. Spent enough on the four wheelers this yearI thought we had more Michigan folks on hereMust be hibernating![]()

OK here is were I got roped into the UP trip planning.Hey Bitten,
I think it would be great to have a tour and invite the Great Lakes Area riders. Many people from Ontario can get over here easily enough through Port Huron or Detroit and then we head north on the I-75 corridor. Folks from Ohio, and Indiana could join up that way too. We could head to towards the UP stay the night in Mackinac City, (which I love) then head for the Lake Superior Shoreline drive, what a beautiful drive that is. Not sure which way you would be coming in to meet from Minnesota but for us heading back we could take the southern route of the UP along Lake Michigan for the way home. You'd probably be coming over through Ironwood. You could bring a group over from your direction toward Mackinac and if you came over via the southern route, when we headed out for the Lake Superior drive that would be your trek home. This is all speculative right now of course. We have to take time into consideration as well, everyone doesn't have a week off to wonder around the lovely upper peninsula, possibly including us. But if we picked a long weekend and planned a midway point such as Mackinaw City or St. Ignace, we could spend some time there and maybe head up to the Soo Locks for a day. When we are done, you any anyone that came from your area could head back west and any southerns and myself could head south. I'm just throwing thoughts out there tight now, but as we get closer to trying to close in on the real thing, I will get with you. I will also post this in the Canadian, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin forums when we get more set on an idea and some dates. Do you have anything in mind? I'll talk to you soon.
