I typically have to travel about 20 minutes to get to my favorite riding area. Most I have driven was across the state to meet some people, about 2 hours. Luckily there are lots of trails and riding areas where I live. Heck, I even live on a dirt road that has seen quite a few donuts.

Every vacation that we doo not fly to ( well even some of them ) we atv .

We do spring and fall Rally's all over Ont, Mattawa, Parry Sound, Elliot Lake, and Huntsville.
Average drive close is 2.5 hour one way, furthest drive ( so far ) 6 hours one way ( we will stay for a few days ) .
We would head anywhere anytime to ride.

When we fly on vacation ( usually cruises out of Miami or ?? ) , we will always do at least one day of atv'n, we have even atv'd in Alaska, Aruba, Mexico, and some others I can not think of. BUT THE BEST is right here in Ontario

I'm fortunate to have about 200 miles of trails in Clark & Jackson County within a 30 minute ride. I have driven as far as 4 hours to ride. That was for 4 days of riding. I'll drive 2 to 2 1/2 hrs for a day ride. Any farther and I like to stay overnight and ride at least 2 days.
Most of my vacations now involve ATV riding, except an occasional trip to Las Vegas.

The largest group ride I've been on was 40 machines. Nothing definite, but I heard the 2008 ATVNation
ride is being planned for Michigan Upper Peninsula. 200-250 machines.

i dont want to upset any one but i can ride from my door..... Its wonderful living here in the U.P

I have 997,000 acker nat. forest in the back yard but ride none of it due to the TMR (travel managment rule) the new rules make it so you cant get from point A to point B due to all conecting roads are closed to ATV and open for HUV. It realy bites due to the fact the wife and bought this place do the the forest and now we cant enjoy it on our ATV.

The good news is that Hougton and Baraga countys allow ATV's on the sholders of all county roads. And there is still 1,000's of ackers of state land to ride. Baraga County has a state ORV trail that is 28 miles but I would have to trailer there due to nat. forest in between. 26 miles through the woods on 2 trackers and i can connect to the Pioneer Trail in Twin Lakes.

Any way... if ya ever get up this way... we can ride

anyone ever wants to trailer to new brunswick to ride,we have thousands of miles(kms for us canadians)of trails to ride.we somtimes ride 200 kms a day(120 miles).thats a normal trip.and new brunswick is not that far away for east coast people, only 3 hrs from bangor maine, will put you right in prime atv country up here in new brunswick.
i would love to ride in the US,but i think we have some laws in maine that keeps that from happening.

Hey BajaX what kind of toy hauler rear door tent enclosure do you have and do you like it, do you utillize it? BTW I too drive 2-3 hours for my wheelings.
Hey snomunke the ramp room is called Add-A-Room made by Dometic I got it from Camping World, they come in two sizes all you have to do is measure your opening and get the one nearest your opening, both of them have 2 to 3 inches you can make bigger or smaller. We used it a lot on our old toy hauler the first time setting it up it took a good hour cause there directions are not very good, once we had it set up I marked the poles my own way and now it takes my wife and I about 10 min to set up. Ours has two small leaks where the side panels zip over the screens all we did was put a cup under it to catch it. One thing we never had tested was having it set up when it has been windy so not sure how it does in strong winds. When we traded off our Tail-gator we kept it but havent tryed it on our new hauler.

Im not sure if I want the ramp room or the screen room for the awning. We just picked up our toy hauler a couple of weeks ago and only used it once. Im not sure if I will realy even need it. A new Can Am is going to look sweet in it.

I can ride right from my front door here in rural northern Alberta, but have travelled as far as 8 hrs to ride near Rocky Mountain House in the foothills for a long weekend. I am blessed to own a half section of land here with a spring fed creek and a swamp to play in. visitors welcome....
