If anyone is looking at the Can Am helmets and have not figured it out, they are Scorpion Helmets. They are an excellent helmet at an excellent price. You can find them at most motorcycle shops. More colors to choose from then what Can Am is currently offering.
I've been trying to compare BRP Scorpion helmets with the Scorpion Exo models. Are the BRP versions the same as Exo 700 or Exo 1000?

I have one and LOVE the pop down visor (sunglasses). I hated having to put sunglasses on or switch out my visors. Good air flow through it too.

Another interesting thing is the pricing. You can get the Scorpion version of the exo 1000 for the price of the can am exo 700 and then you have a cool flip down sun visor that makes you look like a fighter jet pilot, plus the reebok pump feature.

I paid 239 for my exo 1000 from my local dealer, we have a good relationship so I am not sure what the actual retail cost is, I know I did not pay full retail.

AWESOME price. That's like a $100 dicount on the EXO 1000. Since that helmet is still relatively new on the market, you don't find it discounted much at all. You got quite a deal!~!!

The Can-Am GS-2 is the same as the Scorpion EXO 700, and the GSX-2 is the EXO 1000. I've got the Can-Am GSX-2 and its a fantastic helmet.

I too like the flip down sun-shade. Reminds me of my Bombardier Modular Ski-doo helmet! AND I LOVE THAT HELMET!

I'm just trying to find a good headset that I can mount in mine. Most of the good ones require cutting of the foam, and i'm not exactly looking forward to screwing mine up!

The Scorpion 1000 might be my next investment. The AGV helmet I have now does not have a flip-down sunvisor, something I need for the daily sunny commute. Are there other manufacturers besides Scorpion that have the flip-down sunvisor?

I just got a BRP GSX-2 helmet with the retractable sun visor. Gotta tell ya, that is a very cool feature and is very slick. Kind of like wheels on a cooler...why couldn't I think of these things

HJC FS10 is a full-faced with the visor. Noland, HJC, Shoei and a few others make a full-face modular with the sun visor built in. I have the HJC Sy-Max II with the flip down sun visor and absolutely love it.

I didn't know that BRP had picked up the Scorpion EXO 1000 for their line of helmets!!
