I was out riding the a few days ago and came across a scale at a pit where they were hauling out stone and ran the outty up on the scales to see what she weighed. 840 LBS

the scale can weigh 200,000 lbs +/- 20 lbs

the quad had gas.. most of a tank, short chain, small tow strap, and 2 cans of soda.
the scale put me at 160 lbs which is about right and with me on the quad it was 1040 lbs

i have to say it was a little more then i had expectd but am now glad to know that its 1/2 ton that im moving through the trails.

oh! its an 07 800 HO MAX XT

Has anybody else weighed there Can-AM?

Those 589's you added didn't help

look like 589 but are kenda executioners, did the same as you searched for a cheaper version of a good tire, only thing is mine are only 2-3 lbs heavier than stock.

Getting my Vision Wheels with Dirt Tamers, so I'm sure my dry wieght will also increase.

Guess we'll need to buy man's quads now, huh?
Im happy enough with my lil 450.....as long as I dont bottum out there isnt a place I havent been able to go that a "man's" quad did. Maybe next year Ill get a man's quad...give mine to the missus..
