Yeah, I thought that was pretty cool too. Old school meets new school

...a club event was going on at Watkins Glen International

Lockable storage is great. Nice set-up they have with the ignition switch unlocking both the storage and the seat.

:SIGH:

My ol' stompin' grounds. Used to live a scant 7 miles away from WGI. Been on that track many years ago...Would LOVE to take the SPYDER on the long course to see what it could REALLY do!

The more pictures I see of it I can't help but to notice how differently it affects a person from different angles. More than any machine I have ever seen. It can look classic, retro, fluid and down right mean depending on the angle. My favorite is from the back looking down the side. I can't wait to stare at in my garage. I put epoxy on the floor in preperation. I will post picture when it is there.

Agree 100%. It has so many angles and different looks. That's part of the appeal I think.

Just got back from the demo in Sacramento, (Rancho Cordova).
Heard a ton of info including some things that don't jive with the BRP rep on the chat.

If you see the nice close up of the front shocks, you will notice the flat black covered bottom struts.
The top struts for the production modles will have the covers as well.

The BRP rep also mentioned that the fuel is min 87 octane, but the tank says right on it 91.

One last thing is the speed is supposed to be goverened to 110, but although I only got it up to 105 one of the dealers who has put a few thoughsand miles on the demo has had it up to 126.

The wind was as expected, getting hit by 105 mph winds. The stock windshield doesn't cut it.
The wind basicaly hits you right in the chest and assists in pushing your helmet upeven more.

Shutering from vibration was nothing. This things rock solid at speed, except for the wind.

I'm deffinitly getting the touring windshield and tinting it.

it seems the faster I went the bigger the smile I had.

Why are you tinting the winshield?

think about it,,, How cool!!!!!!!! the winshield is totally useless, your not going to see through it, so why not tint it dark, giving it a mean, nasty look to the front,,, hmmmmmmmmm I may just tint mine also, although I am getting the touring sheild,, have to see how far up it comes.
Yeah, he said he was getting the touring windshield too. I assume it will come up high enough to have to see through, but I am not sure.

I heard it is only 8 or so inches higher than the original shield, it is more of a throw over wind protection than like a Givi wind screen where it comes up to your eye hight. Ill decide though when it comes in.
