This poll is to get an idea of what issues spyder owners are experiencing and how many of us are experiencing them. Thank you for taking this poll.*******44 votes were already taken when the parking break issue was added.

All in all I'm very satisfied with my Spyder. I had the front end alignment problem, but my dealer stood the cost of the alignment issues and BRP stood the cost of one new tire and I paid for the second one. I had a little over 9000 miles on it so I feel that was fair. My exhaust was leaking but was taken care of under warranty. I've had the noisey brakes but at the end of the seaon last year they were not nearly as noisey as they had been. Hope the same will be true when I get back on it this year, which I can't wait for. I almost took it out today but he salt residue is still making my roads white, so I opted not to. :wall: It was a great temptation though!!! :riding:

So far I've had no major issues like the steering problems or any thing else concerning safety.

I've had squeaky brakes, a failed gear position sensor, oil in the airbox, and a coolant leak.

but hey... i bought a first year vehicle that is "one of a kind".

that is just part of being an early adopter.

I love my Spyder.

I have been very lucky - I have intermittent noisy brakes, if I brake hard the noise goes away. I also had battery issues that ended up being a couple of loose connections on the battery and on the frame.

Great bike - never would go back to my other rides.

Too late to add it to the survey?

I had the gas fumes. Cured by not overfilling it. Keep the gas nozzle about an inch and a half inside the spout.

I had the squealing brakes too. Usually a hard stab gets rid of them for a while. May ask for a replacement at next service.

I also had the stock muffler discoloration. It is minor, but will look at after market exhaust this spring.

I also had higher than comfortable engine temperature readings, but no overheat or limp mode. Going to have the dealer double check at next service.

All in all, it has been pretty trouble free for a first year vehicle. Very reliable and fun.

Not much of a sample size yet. We need a LOT more people to chime in to get anything significant.

parking brake has never worked, don't use it anyway, i live in Florida, it's flat here, brakes have just begun to howl after 8500 miles, other than that, runs like a champ!

I agree, I would like to see all users take this poll. And you 7 with perfect spyders, you might want to buy a lottery ticket. It seem you have some good luck on your side.
