Some people here think they can work on Spyders themselves.
I am an ASE certified auto mechanic with 25 years experiance
at a VW dealer in Hartford CT. I purchased new a 2011 RT.
I also ordered a repair manual on CD. This document is 1,690 pages.
This is a VERY high tech vehicle. Without the factory software and
the correct equiptment self service is impossible.
You had better hope that the dealer you use is commited to training
the Techs he has. I love my Spyder and only hope it remains safe and
reliable.
