The above instructions are not posted at the Evoluziones' site.

I'm wondering if this is a "do-it-yourself, if you have the skill/tools" install, or a "take it to the shop before you break something" install.

If it's a shop thing, wait until the 500 mile service...?

Any tips or suggestions are appreciated.

here is a brief write-up of how to install the sway bar:

step 1. open the front storage compartment cover. remove the service cover and unplug the diagnostic connector.

step 2. remove the two upper side panels using a torx t-30 wrench.

step 3. remove the front panels by releasing the three plastic rivets on each side (two on top, one on the bottom).

step 4. unplug the horn (left side) & temperature sensor (right side). release the harnesses from the clips on the storage compartment. note: if you have the fog lights, also unplug the harness from the bulbs.

step 5. using a 10mm socket, remove the four upper bolts attaching the front compartment to the frame.

step 6. using a 10mm socket, remove the two lower bolts (underneath the bike) attaching the front compartment to the frame.

step 7. lift the storage compartment off the front of the bike. note: if you have a 12v socket installed, unplug the harness while removing the storage compartment.

step 8. using a 13mm socket & 13mm wrench, remove the two bolts attaching the end of the stock sway bar to the link rods.

step 9. using a 13mm socket & 13mm wrench, remove the four bolts attaching the stock sway bar to the frame.

step 10. remove the two metal attachment straps from the stock bushings. install the supplied bushings over the evoluzione cyclesports performance sway bar. reinstall the two metal attachment straps over the bushings.

step 11. using the four stock bolts and nuts, attach the evoluzione cyclesports performance sway bar to the frame.

step 12. using the two stock bolts and nuts, attach the evoluzione cyclesports performance sway bar to the link rods. note: use the inner holes for the firmest cornering. note: make sure both ends use the same hole placement (both inner or both outer).

step 13. reinstall the front storage compartment, making sure to reattach any harnesses that were unplugged. reinstall the front panels & upper side panels. replug the diagnostic connector back into it's holder and reinstall the service cover.
