Hi all,
I am a new Spyder ryder in Margate Tasmania (20km south of Hobart) Picked up my Spyder second hand in Sydney and rode it back to Hobart about two weeks ago. Are there any other Spyder ryders in Tassie. I would like to get together for a ride and a chat somtime.

Hi Gazey,
yes, there are about half a dozen other Spyders in Tassie, but all are in the north of the State. I am living in Westbury, and have been here about 7 months (moved from Sydney). I assume you know that the Spyder dealer is in Burnie, so you have a bit of a journey for your services. Drop me an e-mail if your coming up this way, and we can meet up.

I wiil be sure to contact you when Im heading up your way.
I have spoken to Janelle at Lingers and she was quite helpfull.
600km round trip for a service is not a good thing as it probably means an overnight stay as well. (more cost)
I am hoping that we get a service agent down this way soon. My Spyder has had a huge amount of attention. Mayby it will get one of the bike shops down here thinking about an agency.

Its probably the same old stuff you other ryders get all the time. People just look with their mouth open.
I have had some even ask me to stay put while they drive home to get their camera and come back to take pictures. Lots of questions about where its made and where to get one. Its the first one getting around down in Hobart so most people havn't seen one before I suppose.
