Wanted to post it in the survey post I started many moons ago.
Annnd I wanted to take my Spyder (for another bit of work) to my dealer tomorrow if possible. The man who runs the shop is going to be on vacation til the end of the month, and his (not so bright) brother will be running the shop.

Ken??
I read it the same way the first time and had FBC call to make sure, he even asked if the install labor was included. the answer was yes.
If you want to wait until mine are replaced due to the squeeking or defective nature for the results, please do.
I will not be paying for these pads, if they were not free and I have already made it clear to my dealer also.
Have your dealer call on a defective claim and get the answer for you if you have any doubts.
I do try to be very accurate about info that i post.
This is not the first time that BRP has come through - it just takes more time then we like.

EDIT:
Must be under warranty, it's not one year old and it's a defect pad causing it.

This is the answer I got as well. My response to the dealer was that I reported this issue at 600mi, and it continues to persist. I also stated that this noise is so load I would term it as not normal for any vehicle. I have purposely not made any changes to correct the, because I wanted to see if BRP would come up with a solution. I trust there solution better, and even if it might not work I would appreciate an effort from them.
He said he would order the pads, and try to get BRP to foot the bill. Technically they do not have to replace them, but they could "good will" them to me. Since I have a better relationship with his brother, who is on vacation, I will wait until he comes back from vacation and revisit it with him.

I have a BMW car and they handle things much better! BMW warrenty will fix my whole brake kit on my M3. That's like a $1,000 set up for free! My brakes however are top notch since I put on 35,000 miles and it's only half way through the brakes.

My dealer in Ft. Myers fixed mine under warranty when I had my 6k service done on it. No charges for parts or labor.
