Do we have a list of what vendors will be attending? I am hoping to see Industries 7, F1 and anyone else with Spyder windshields. I am also interested in seats and communication systems and would like to see what's available.

Corbin has confirmed. Marcel from F1 is going to try to attend. I haven't heard any plans from Industries7 recently. Evoluzione will have products available, but I don't think Ken is attending personally. No Magic Neon has asked where they can park, so I believe they hope to attend as well.

Okay, next question. Since I may have some extra cash on hand, will Corbin be doing any sales and installs while there or will they only have demo products? I may be in the market for a seat. :riding:

When ever the Corbin truck is at an event they have items on board and provide free installation, the truck is not just used for displaying items, but for sales/installation of Corbin products.

That sounds great. Do they offer event specials, free installation, anything like that?

EDIT: Oops, I just read your "free installation" comment. Any other specials?

I don't know what they have planned. I know they gave great discounts at Americade.

I had just emailed Mike Corbin to confirm and I have a reply, there will be the usual 10% rally discount at Gatlinburg. :beerchug1:

A pic of the rig being setup at Sturgis, just so ya know what it looks like, so ya won't miss seeing it at Gatlinburg.

I got an email today from No Magic Neon which stated that they will NOT be attending. Sad because I was going to have them install some things.

Yep, he told dltang in a recent email that the timing of the Gatlinburg event wasn't working out for him and its not big enough (yet) for him to consider it a 'must attend' event.

Tharkun, being as you are my closest contact with Corbin (and I'm too lazy to find out on my own), I was wondering if you could answer a question for me? I have read that Corbin still has a backlog of Spyder seat orders. Will they have the Spyder seats in stock in Gatlinburg and, if so, how many do they plan on bringing? I just need to know how quickly I need to act once I get there if I plan on getting the seat. Thanks in advance for any info or advice you can give me.

The Corbin rig is currently in Milwaukee for the HD rally, and I plan to make a trip to the factory next week. I need to confirm dates/time for the Gatlinbugh departure so I know when to drop off Spydie, I'll see what info I can acquire.

It can be costly for a rig with fuel prices it, can be a $1 per mile, so if one is looking at a profit margin for a small rally, it may not be profitable. But at the same time, there can me some advantages to making a rally other than purley a profit thing. :TgC_emoticon142:

bjt left out the part where NoMagicNeon is already committed to a rally in Myrtle Beach the very next day and that added to the small size of this rally and the cost involved as a vendor just made it too difficult to do both rally's so close together and be cost effective. In this economy, we can all understand that I am sure. I know you are kind of joking Marc and I really wish he could make it too. He has some great Spyder mods and he is always coming up with more and they are reasonably priced. I think you will see his spyder market grow and also the number of spyder accessories he has to offer.

Okay,
Since NoMagicNeon can not be there, I talked to Evan (Magic Man) today. I may be able to bring down a few of his products to show and may even have some available to sell. We are working out the details. I just think he has such great aftermarket products for the Spyder and I am very confident in his product and his customer service. I hope I am able to be a representative of sorts for him while in Gatlinburg. I will provide you with more details as I get them.

That's sounds great Deb. Make sure you have the sales Tax info/forms you may need.

:up-date:
Just talked with factory and I'll be making a trip over in the morning to confirm dates/times for drooping of Spydie for loading onto the rig. I'll have some info about what/quantity of products will be on the rig for Gatlinburg when I return and will post it.
