Most definitely done by hand. The man is an artist, is all I can say.

He doesn't have a shop. This is more of a hobby than a career, but judging by the work I've personally seen, he could easily swing that way.
You can check out his page and learn more about him and his buddies (NorCal Slingers) at:

You weren't cruising down 29th street that last evening we had a little rain were you? I was sitting out on mine at 29th & N, and saw a silver one roll by. I have seen a total of 4 around mid-town- not counting the spyder ride to Folsom.

I was out riding yesterday (Sunday) and saw two more silver spyders one on Power Inn and Folsom Blvd, and the other on 59th and Hyw 50, Have you done any other mods yet? I have put on mirror extensions and a Evo II windscreen. We should meet somewhere and take a ride! Nice talking to a fellow rider.

All stock except for the pinstriping, knee pads, caliper kit, foglights, and the stitched seatcover- and the touring windshield (though not for the benefit, just because i like the way it looks.)- my bro will be doing something to the stock windshield involving paint and pinstriping- if it looks cool, I may put it back on.

At the dealer, they are a BRP accessory. I don't recall the correct name, but knee pads works for me. They mount to the bike by removing the 2 screws fastening the panels together (at the point where the 2 panels meet by your knee)- they include longer screws for this purpose. The third point is a velcro fastener that sticks with adhesive on the back to the panel. Very easy to follow instructions, and they include a template that you can cut out and align with the screw holes in the panel for correct placement of the velcro pads.
I rode the bike about 60 miles before I installed the pads- and could really feel the heat on my kneecaps. Afterwards not so bad- major improvement. Really cheap accessory (by brp standards, anyway.)

I guess from that photo there's some resemblance, but in his defense- he striped until 10pm the night before, stayed up partying- went to bed at midnight or so- and was back up at 6am to work on the bike. Very dedicated, but personal appearance was not at the top of the list that morning. Can't wait to tell him what you called him... funny!

That looks awesome! Very good job!
I ordered the "knee pads" from my dealer and came in about 2 wks. after the bike.
Just waiting for hubby to install them for me. Should be this weekend. You can go on the
brp web site and purchase them from there under ascessories
Just when I thought my riding days were over... along came a Spyder!
