I just mounted mine to the stock wind shield, with a garmin mount that I had for a bmw. Plug into the &#@. outlet.

What is " &#@ " and without pics, your post is not really helpful. :pondder:

Has anyone access to a copy of the Zumo 660 mounting instructions and if so could they copy them and post on this site. I have a Zumo 550 and so dont want to upgrade to a 660, so very interested in where the Canam Zumo 660 mounting bracket plugs into an RT-S. I have fitted a 'Ram" B 272 45degree base with 9mm hole fitting, on top of a stainless steel bush, made by a friend out of a 1/2 inch stainless bolt. The original bolt was replaced by a longer one. The supplied ram mount is attached to this, then to the Zumo cradle

Nicely done. I'm in the same position, except I don't have the RT yet. I'm very happy with my Zumo 505, and don't see any reason to upgrade to a 660, so I'm sure I'll have to come up with a similar way of mounting and powering my 550.
