Be careful with TireFly's

We bought red, white, and blue tireflys for the spyder for a cool look going down the road. We went to a concert, and when we got back to the spyder, the rear tire was completely flat, and the front two were VERY low. Thankfully, a nice couple saw our predicament, and came around with an air compressor from their car! We got the spyder home, and let it sit with full air pressure. It was perfectly fine the next morning. So, with that being said, no more tire fly's are going on the bike!

Tireflys are lights for your wheels. You screw them onto the valve stem on your tires, and as you move down they road, they light up. They are pretty cool. But, like I said previously, they flattened our tires, so no more Tireflys for us.
You can also look at www.tireflys.com for a better look.

I had them on my sportbike, and nothing ever went flat..
Of course, once I changed the batteries, they would never shut off.

I had a similar problem on my sportbike.......they finally burned out, I took them off, and never put them back on again. NOW.....I'm putting pink LED lights in the bike.

I learned awhile back that the additional stress with these compared to most other caps on the valve stems pulls some valve stems out of seal. The same thing will happen using non lighted heavier caps like dice etc.
I am only 37 and semi retired. Find out how I do it Visit My Website
