I have looked all through the Spyder Owners Manual and I can't find a single number for the light bulbs. The headlight is H5 but other than that all they say are the wattages of the bulbs, no actual numbers like 1057 just for example. If you know what the replacement bulb numbers are I would appreciate having them listed. I would like to carry a spare with the bike. Thanks.

I used A 2057 LL Sylvania lamp for the running tail/brake light.

Oh and here is what I was told to me in another topic about this...

I need to find a replacement bulb for the Tail/Brake light but all the manual says is 2X 5/21W !?! The dealer I bought it from does not have any replacements bulbs and I want to ride at night without fear of being pulled over. The running light filament is shot, but the brake light filament still works. I tried to find the light at a auto store but the are all numbered without any info. Does anyone happen to know which bulb is usable? Sheesh! A bulb out on my second day after pickup!

it uses a 7528 bulb but you can use an 1157 in a pinch.

Thanks Ken. I was thinking 7 and pressed 5, must be age. But it would be nice to have a listen of all the bulb numbers rather than have one burn out on a trip and have to try to find a replacement.

I bought some Philips Crystal Vision Ultra bulbs that reach up to 4000 Kelvin, they are a bright white light.

Any particular model number? So I just go to an auto parts store for this? Are they that much brighter than the stock headlights?

Which ones are better Silver stars or Crystal Vision? Part #'s where did you get them? How much do they coast? Are they direct replacement's for the stock ones? And is there a noticeable difference from stock?

http://www.suvlights...ex.php?cPath=39
I bought a pair at Costco in Canada for $35. I like the white light it produces and if the lights that come with the bike are like what comes with most other vehicles they are good but you can do better. I want to be seen so I'm going with these bulbs. As long as they are H7 you can buy them anywhere they sell headlights. There are lots of different H7s and a dozen companies making them so you will just have to check some sites online and see what the bulbs perform like and choose one. It's a matter of what you think works for you. I like white light, some like blue lights and so on.

Why is it nobody seems to have a list of the numbers for the bulbs on this bike? Headlights H7, position lights (fender lights) 194NA, tail/brake 7528, so what is the license plate light bulb number and the turn signals?
Does anyone have a link to a cross reference chart to get the equivalent LED bulbs for the position light bulbs and the license plate bulb?

I had a tail light burn out on my first ride. And I just replaced it with a 1157 bulb works fine so far anyway.

You'll have to be carefull if you try and replace the stock bulbs with LEDS... the LEDs won't draw as much current.... and can set off a fault with the computer--- as in it thinks the bulb is burnt out.

People have added them in parallel with the stock tail light and turn signals without a problem.

Do you know what the numbers are for the license plate bulb and the turn signal bulbs that come with the bike?
