Has the weather been too bad to ride? I've looked at all the mods you posted today -- nice work! I'm especially keen on the power bus.
One thing -- keep in mind the possibility of a GROUND LOOP. Low current wiring is most suceptible; GPS, communication systems, phones, etc. Electronic equipment can react strangely to differences in ground potential, especially audio equipment.
Here's what happens. Say you have a comm system grounded at one place on your Spyder's frame. You have your phone connected to the audio system so you can make and receive calls while you ride. You plug your phone in to a power receptacle to recharge it. The power receptacle is grounded at a different location on the frame. The two audio devices are connected to each other via an audio cable, but they are also connected to each via the ground. If there is enough difference in the amound of current going thru the separate grounds, you could experience a ground loop. Usually, a ground loop in an audio circuit presents as an annoying hum in the speaker.
It's very easy to prevent ground loops. By running the connections for all your add-on electrical devices directly back to the neg (-) terminal on the battery (instead of grounding locally to the frame) you ensure all electrical devices on the bus see the same ground potential.
Regards,
Mark

Yup--- understand on the ground-loop. I'll be grounding most items at the ground-bus I installed.
All of my devices are connecting via Bluetooth.. GPS... Phone.. Audio... etc..... so I should be okay.....
And yes... the weather has been crap!
