Complete install pics: http://www.spyderweb.be/reportages/reporta...rek_spyder.html

Regards, Pierre

*Notice: my site is in Dutch but the pics can be helpfull while installing the backrest.
The original install manual is black-white and less clear.
This notice is because some people complain in private that I always
post pics and always link to a Dutch site. The pics are clear enough
to follow without text if you have the manual.
If they help you, I'm glad, that's the only reason for posting...

We did test it while standing still, fits and feels unbelievable comfortable in the back,

but we still have to test it on the road (this weekend I hope).

I'm sure it's one of the best backrests available for a 'bike' or any other vehicle. :)

She likes the backrest a lot! It's the best backrest she ever had. It's not to lean her forward but to adjust in the best position. Before on our BMW we had a topcase with backrest pad on it, not compareable with this one! The topcase couldn't be moved in the best position. Also the design of the Spyder's backrest is the best I've felt; there is a cutout for the spine so there is no pressure on it. A must have for passengers, also great if you like to "power up" on the throttle and don't want to loose them :P

Is the Back Rest (removable)?
Might be nice to use the Luggage Rack when a passenger isn't on board.

yes the pull lever is under the seat pull that lift off back rest & reinstall bag rack. I have one, but to me looks ugly on the bike sticking up in the air but the lady & kid think it is great. glad it is removeble
