I have the same Battery Tender that I use on my 4 wheeler. work great!

I had had the battery tender put on my machine at the dealer and they installed it directly on the battery and routed the wire under the seat. It worked perfectly and unless you look hard you can't even see the connector plug. I just pop the seat, remove the plug cap and plug it in. I tender all my toys, it really helps make the battery last, especally during winter storage.

I had my 12 volt acc. Installed next to the speedometer on the dash like my BMW came with. Now all I have to do is plug in my charger to the 12 volt acc. easy and simple. No fooling around in the trunk. Just one of the reasons I did not want it installed in the trunk.
