Hello all,
I have a small favor to ask. FIrst, I bought a Cowl Cover, and I dont have instructions for installation. I have figured it out (I think), but the tail end is somewhat loose still. It may be because I broke one of the rubber balls off the end of the strap. Which brings me to the second question. BRP must have thought there would be some MORON like me putting this thing on, so they made "break-away & Removable" rubber straps.....Where can I order these straps? Any quick tips on how to install it quickly?

Thanks in advance.

This is a post with pics I made, perhaps it will be of assistance. The rubber bungees are available from BRP, one of the shop folks managed to break three well trying to install the seat cowl. :)

Bummer, Ben!!! Wish I could help but I had the dealer install mine before I picked it up. It came off relatively easy!

Hey, no problem....it was totally my fault. I will check with BRP, and they can get me some more bungee's....no problem whatsoever....it was totally my fault.

The cowl is great.

Thanks

Thanks for the info....I will check into the rubber bungees. I think my bungees may have been wrong too. The reason I say that is because all 4 are the same length. I thought it needed to be tight....and boy you are right, that thing is hard to get on. I am not going to run with it right now since I am afraid that it may mar the paint since one of the bungee's are not fastened (and it pulls to the other side). Thanks for the info.
