BE CAREFUL - if the control system does not see the resistance of an actual filament it will think the bulb is out and you'll get an error, go into limp mode - problems you don't want to know about.
I added a very bright flashing multi-LED brake light set but added it in parallel with the original brake lights.

Stuart,
Did you add the Hyper-Lites? If so, any problems? Which option?

Yes, added Hyper lights. Don't know the exact model #, bought them from Aerostich. 2 rectangular pods with about 12 LED's each. I self-adhered them on top of the turn signals and they work perfectly. Not one car has rammed into me at a stop light!

Thanks Stuart,
If there is one thing i have worried about with this thing, it is rear visibility. I guess I compare to my R1100RT, but the rear lights seem small to me. I was thinking about adding some Hyper-Lites. Considering a custom set (for the extended wiring), with their license plate bracket. Have to get the Spyder here first, if the snow melts by Friday. Then I'll take some measurements. Thanks for the input.

This is the link to the Aerostich #4552 Hyper Lights. $58 for the pair with wires. They are self-adhesive on bottom, and will sit right on top of the turn signals. Very clean install but VERY VISIBLE.

Do these lights flash as long as you have your foot on the brakes or do they stop flashing but stay on after a set time.

Hyper-Lites www.hyperlites.com has several options available as to sequence, and size of lights. I don't know if all options would work with the Spyder wiring, though.
BTW, thanks, Stuart!

Thanks for the information on the hyper-lites. I may get a set for my Spyder
Just a quick question... is it difficult to wire it in?

I wired them right into the wiring which goes to each signal, under the seat. It took one hour.

Headlight 2 X 55 W(North American Models)
Tail light/Brake light 2 X 5/21 W
Turn signal lights Front Front 21 W Rear 10 W
Position lights 2 X 5 W
License plate light 10 W
Can anyone tell me if they are for example 1157 or what number each one is?

Need information on the fog light bulbs, too. No information on those. The headlight bulbs in the US are supposed to be 55W H-7 halogens, BTW. I haven't verified this yet. May replace them with PIAA extreme whites, if they are.

Stuart, This is one of the reasons that I read each day. There are so many great sources for stuff for the Can Am's. Thanks for the input.....................
