I would like to lower the position of the brake pedal. Has anyone out there done this yet? If so, a post in the How To section would be greatly appreciated. Started to read the adjustment section in the Shop Manual but it put me to sleep. Thanks in advance to any kind soul who has done this and posts it.

I believe it is not adjustable. I too wanted to lower it at first, found out it was not adjustable, but have since grown very comfortable with its position. Only took a few hundred miles...

Was actually higher in the preproduction ones and they used all the input from demo rides to lower it. not far enough for you however.

When riding by myself the brake pedal position is quite comfortable. When 2 up with my wife I have to sit slightly further forward. This makes my foot want to angle down further and I get a cramp in my foot after a while keeping it from contacting the brake pedal. I can angle my foot to the outside avoiding this problem, but then my foot isn't covering the brake. That couple of tenths of a second to get my foot back to the brake could make a differnce in an emergency situation. I have the Spyder in for it's first service today and have asked them to adjust it down if possible. They weren't sure when I left it if they could lower it any. The whole problem may go away when my wife's backrest comes in. Then she may be more comfortable sitting further back on the seat.

BRP did lower the pedal from the prototypes but I still find it a bit hard to use because of the peg position being to far back for me. I looked at the pedal and see the plunger that attaches to it and it does have a threaded shaft but there is a swith that actavaits when the pedal is depressed so even if you could adjust the plunger there might be a problem with the switch. I am getting use to the pedal but not the position of the pegs, got to do something there !!!!!

Yep exactly same feeling here. Have to hold my foot on the outside to not cramp. Thought it was "just me" but looks like other feel the same.

I took a good look at the foot pegs and the brake pedal. What I found was that the one foot peg is higher from the ground then the other. If you look at the casting on both sides that the foot peg attaches to you will see the differences. Also use a tape measure to see the height from the ground to the top of the pegs and you will see the difference from left side to right side. About 3/4 of an inch???

Either my Spyder is different or my garage floor is more level, but at most 3/16" - 1/4" from one side to the other, with both tires at 15 psi. Just happened to be detailing Spyder and read this post. ;)
