Hello, can anyone help with how to paint the windsheild? I'd like to paint it yellow, but don't want to mess it up either. Any good thoughts?

Yeah, don't do it.

No, seriously, if you want to do it....just take it off, get some plastic primer, some sand paper of various grits between 80 and 2000, a paint sprayer and the appropriate paint and clearcoat and go for it. Just take your time and don't rush it. Allow drying between coats.

I painted the inside flat black on mine and the outside looks gloss black. Love the look. You could do the same with yellow I'm sure.

Yes, I've done it to snowmobile windshields. Paint the inside and the outside will look glossy.

The stock windshield has a black "dot" pattern on the lower part of it that will show if the inside is painted yellow. It can not be seen if black paint is used.

For those who are thinking of painting the windshield black.....use satin black paint instead of flat black. The satin will better match the dash area when viewed from inside the windshield yet will appear to be high gloss from the outside.
