as of Nov 1st, I do have a clause in my contract, if it is not delivered to me by Nov 1st, I can get my full deposit back, no questions asked. but my dealer is still sticking with the "any day now" story. Which of course can drag on for another life time....

Good point and that has me thinking, how long does it take to ship the units from the Canadian plant to a Canadian dealership? Seems like the Canadians would have at least had a half dozen or so units by now.

I also notified the BRP rep that as of Nov 1st, I am no longer locked into the spyder and can request a full refund of my deposit of $1,000 with no questions asked. He then again informed me that all of the 600 spyders will be delivered by Nov 1st. and that they will start showing up at dealers any day now as they have been on the road since Tuesday in transit.

Great work Charles! Why they could not tell us this before is beyond me.

Mrfix,
I have no problem with being patient. It frustrates me when I am kept in the dark and get bounced back and forth between the dealer and BRP. Most of the frustration on this board could have been avoided if BRP would have just kept us in the loop.

That is the most under handed thing I have seen anyone pull yet.
JUST let us know BRP.!!!!

Hi Mrfix, Yes, it will be SOOOOOO good riding a spyder in temps below 40 degrees until the snow shows up in november/december. It will be awesome to peek out the window seeing where the spyder is stored and know that the average high temp for the day is 10 degrees F. and also knowing that I wont be able to move the spyder until that 3-4 foot snow bank is gone in order to get it out of storage. Yea,,,,,,,,,,, it will be sooooo good,,,,,,,,,
"Every day that passes is one day I wont be able to ride a spyder this year"
"North east riding season = late April = late November"
Todays date, Oct 18th, As of today there are only 43 days left of riding if the season ends Dec 1st. Snow or a cold snap will reduce that greatly.
If I ordered it in july, then I need to have patience, If I ordered it in march,,, they have run out and now I want the product.

Charles, it is far better break in a new engine in 40 degree weather than it is in the heat of summer. The spyder will thank you for waiting. besides, it's only weather

I do not speak English, but every day I still your forum with the translator of Google, for the time being this is my only consolation until who knows story. So learn about the spyder for when you mount.
ROUTES AND GOOD LUCK WITH LARGE MACHINE
Pardon my English, but use the Google translator.
