Spoke with my Spyder dealer in Pensacola, FLA, and still no news on delivery. He did say that I am #1 on the list, and that Florida is supposed to be the first to get the Spyder delivery. He had the notion that they should arrive the 18th...
Now could that just be for my benefit?
One thing he did say is that when they arrive, the dealers are supposed to have the Spyder for three (3) days before anyone takes purchase. I would guess so they can go over the Spyder with a fine tooth comb, check all safety hardware and communication to the ECU, or what ever they want to call the brain.
I just believe that the dealers are in the same position as us, in the dark until the last moment!
I just want the Spyder in my possession!!!

Nope, not true according to my dealer, it comes in, they do thier un-crating, give it a once over and off I go with it, As a mater of fact,,, in my contract, it says I have to take delivery of it within 48 hours. He expects mine to be un-crated, and have me pick it up that night.

Yet another reason why this is so frustrating. We are all getting different answers from our dealers. Mine states that his Spyders will be sent to a "distribution center" then deliverd to him assembled.

Hey looking on the bright side, we all have a Halloween Costume. "Wanabe Spyder Riders" The thing going around with Circle of friends I have is that the first snow fall in the State will coincide with the delivery of the Spyder
