I would ride when it's colder than 32, but we have a problem with black ice here. I already totaled my car due to black ice. Also, when it gets to freezing temps, they cover the roads with salt. I don't want to expose Spydie to that corrosion hazard.

Depends on icing conditions.

I routinely ride between 15 - 20 degrees. I find that I'm actualy warmer than if I drive to work. I wear warmer cloths and for the first 30 minutes my hand even stay warm. I have handbar muffs when the temperature is below 20 degrees and my hands stay nice a warm. I don't ride at night if there is any moisture that can freeze on the road it gets too slippery.

Nice pics, Roadkill!!

It was 27 degrees in Northeast Pennsylvania this morning, but the skies were clear and the sunrise spectacular! The ride home is supposed to be mid-50's!

I routinly rode when the temp was down to 15 deg this winter. I live in Northen Illinois were we get a lot of snow but did not get much this year. I don't ride at night due to black ice but the temp does not bother me with the right gear. I have the handle bar muffs like Roadkill and when combined with heated grips work great. With the mild winter I was able to ride 3000 miles this winter. I don't do snow unless I have to. I did do some drift jumping last winter between Christmas and New Years when the country road drifted over. The nanny really kicked in going down that road.
