After what I went through in 2011 fighting with BRP over repairs to my 2008 SM5 with less than 9,000 miles after the drive belt tension was reduced from the original recommendation of 1400 newtons to the revised 450 newtons (TSB 2010-04) and the sprocket seal immediately failed, an issued which had been proceeded by a fight with BRP over replacement of the gear position sensor which had failed and exhibited the faults identified in TSB 2009-01, I'm not sure they want to see me any more than I want to see them. While I love my bike, I just can't say the same for BRP. After five months of them giving excuse after excuse as to why they thought I should be responsible the $4,000 + in repairs and a consult with my attorney, they yielded and paid. To build a bike that draws so much attention where ever you go (including being pulled over twice by local cops who just wanted to see the bike) and not give a rat's behind about the customer experience is just stupid. "So, how do you like that thing?" now get's "Well, I'd never buy another BRP product" and "I want my BMW back" in response.
