I purchased this item a few months ago but only had it on my wife's Spyder for about 6 hrs and it's been sitting on the workbench since. It is in perfect condition. My wife is a new rider and she couldn't get use to the letting go of the handlebar while the cruise assist was engaged.

This was purchased from ESI and it goes for $110.00 plus shipping. I will sell for $80.00 and I will ship priority mail only to the continental USA.

I have a paypal account, please PM me if interested.

Here are the specs from the ESI website:

Fits all GS and RS Models

A simple, effective cruise control for your bike!!
Features/Benefits
• Maintains throttle position while allowing you to relax your hand, wrist and forearms.
• Greatly reduces rider fatigue and strain on hand and wrist
• ‘Stealth’ design, blends in
• Very simple to install. Takes less than 15 minutes to fit stock grips, a bit longer for aftermarket grips
• Very simple to operate, even with heavy winter gloves
• High quality, compact and durable design, super smooth action

Operation

The friction nut has a left-hand thread. It must be adjusted so that it makes light contact with the rubber throttle sleeve.

To Engage: While rolling on the throttle, the friction nut can be gripped between the small finger and palm of hand. This action tightens the nut and provides sufficient friction to set throttle to the desired opening. (The friction is such that the rider may still open and close the throttle. It simply has a slight stiffness to it.)

To Disengage: While rolling off the throttle, grip friction nut between small finger and palm of hand. The throttle should open and snap closed freely when correctly disengaged.

I suggest you hold onto it for a while until she becomes a Spyder addict. She just needs practice. It can be a wonderful thing. It took me a little bit to get used to it. But now I can't imagine being without it!!!
