I would like to know of the owners that have changed tires, what kind of tires did you put on? The same that came on the bike or car tires? If you went with car tires what did you put on? Just curious I'am gettig to the point that I will need some shortly.

+I use Bridgestone Potenzas (P165/65R14 78S for a Honda Fit) for far better wear and longevity, and like feel. I've only rotated mine once since installed 3/21/10 and they're still going strong with 24,000 miles without any of the unusual wear patterns that existed on the previous
sets of OEM tires. I already have a Potenza-shoed pair of wheels for when these eventually wear out, but they've still got lots of miles left.

For the rear, a Falken ZIEX ZE912 225/50R15 91V gives good grip & distance.

+I run the Potenzas on the front at 40psi (sidewall reads 44). I'm back to stock on the rear (30psi) until the next need, and I don't recall the pressure at which I ran the Falken back there before swapping back.

I talked to few guys about rear tire wear and the fact the center goes first. They use lower pressure in the rear and get more miles out of the rear oem tire. I just put a new oem rear tire and only have 24 psi in it one or two up. Here's hoping it will wear flat as my last one had lots of tread on the sides but not much in the center.
