I just bought a 2010 RS SE5 and it's the first time I've ever rode or owned a motorcycle. It has the automatic transmission and I'm wondering if it has cruise control or I just haven't found it. If it doesn't, is this something that can be added?

No, it doesn't have a cruise control. Have to go to the RT to get one from the factory. There are options. Most people use a throttlelock type device. I have a Throttlemeister and it works fine for temporary relief on the highway. There are several brands that essentially do the same thing.
There are also a couple of true cruise controls that can be added to the RS. One, that some have added, is the McCruise. It's an Australian product that has good reviews and good support from what I have read. There are a couple of others as well. Google is your friend. I will say the throttlelocks are for the most part inexpensive. The true cruise controls are not.

Thank you very much for the info and I'll check into the Throttlemeister. Thanks again.

Hi,
Welcome to the World of Spyder.
Some have gotten the Audiovox cruise to work on the Roadster and it's not too expensive.

IMHO I have been using the Audiovox for 5000 miles and I love this. It sure beats the heck out of the $1000 + cruise control from downunder. My link
