Hello all, I'm new to this forum and to Spyders. Glad to be here, very interesting bikes.
I've got a customer who's son tried to jump start the spyder with the jumper cables connected backwards...He found a blown fuse, replaced it.
Now bike won't start and he's getting various codes. Does he have to use the B.U.D.S to reset the ecm? And what do you all think the damage is.
Thanks all
G

Disconnect positive battery post for 20min. Then start it and let it idle for 15min then turn it off for 15 min. Then go ride.

You might want to check the relays, the reverse voltage may have caused them to jam.
The ecm is probably diode protected so is likely undamaged.

Did you check the fuse box under the right side of the seat?
