Can anyone explain the very last setting in the preferences mode, audio is? it is titled head set front. I have played with this sitting and cannot see a difference and I cannot find any explanation in the book. The bottom line is that I have had one hard time setting up our headsets and am still not satisfied with the way they work. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Setting up the headsets are a pain .Lot of playing around before you get it correct....or close. Had all kinds of problems with the audio going on and off until I turned the auto volume control on , which to me if you're using headsets it shouldn't matter. Vox control takes some playing with to get it correct.

I never noticed the "front headset " mode but that don't mean its not there. I would assume it means the drivers headset since the passenger can control his/her own .

What are your problems specifics ?

I can't say with certainty, but most comm systems have a balance feature between the front and rear headsets, so you can make one or the other comparatively louder, in case one rider wears earplugs and the other doesn't, for instance, or if one has an open helmet and the other is closed and quieter.

Just getting a good set up. Right now we can talk to one another by cupping the mike and talking very loudly. My next thing is to swap headsets with a friend to see if the problem is the headsets or set up. Thanks to everyone for your input.

Headset Front is Headset Front Ratio. It goes from -50% to 50%. It is the ratio of the headset level to the Front spkr level (this is from memory).
