has anyone had problems with paint comming off exaust, would this be covered under warranty

Many have had spots develop on early stock exhausts. Are you actually talking about paint chipping off?

The paint has chipped, peeled, burned off all three of my Spyders (2008 GS-SM5, 2008 GS-SE5, 2010 RS-SE5).

yes , i have 2009 paint is pelling off, does not overly bother me but like to keep my spyder detailed , little paint chips are getting bigger and bigger , did 1000 miles over weekend , when i left i had small chip , now 3 and are getting bigger, , cheers

If it gets to the point that you can't stand it anymore then buy another one. Those stock exhausts are dirt cheap used. Plenty of us including me have took the stock one off and added an aftermarket one. People just about give the stock ones away. :thumbs:
