Has anyone tried or has anyone wrapped the exhaust pipe from before the muffler back under the body to the engine?
My right heal was 'bout to burst into flames the other day. I was gonna try to wrap it with header manifold wrap to
see of it cuts down on the heat. Opinion please....

You could always do ceramic coating. It can be done in black or silver, you can do the pipes inside and out, and it looks better than wrap IMHO.

I had the same problem until I went to Spyder in Maggie Valley. There was a man and his son installing heat shields. But I can not think of their names. The heating problem you are talking about is coming from your catilytic converter. I know I miss spell that, but you know what I am talking about. They installed the converter and engine heat shield for $72.00. It was money well spent. Now I have a cooler ride.
