Where is a good place to start? I do NOT want to cut & splice. I can come off rear signals and license plate light.BUT I have no brake lights on the trailer. Does somebody have a solution for this? I need to be ready for Maggie valley. Hocking co. 1st.

Not sure what you are asking. You have to tie your trailer wiring harness into the Spyder system somehow. My GS/RS had one of the first trailers and I used a 5 wire system/plug. You will have to tie into a brake line somewhere for your trailer brake lights to work. Under the rear panel is where all my wiring connects. Do you really have no brake lights on the trailer or have you just not found a way to connect them?

I just finished wiring for a trailer for my RS/GS. I used posi-taps so there was not cutting and splicing. These things work great. http://www.posi-lock.com/posiplug.html
You may find them locally at an auto supply or order them on the net.

I purchased oem splicing plugs from Tricplates, Worth the money to keep everything factory and not take a chance on elec. tape coming loose when you really need them...I'm not going to add the trailer to the RT but need to get more lights on the rearwith all the rear functions...
