I just picked up my used 500 mile 2009 and it ran fine for 50 miles home. Did some adjustments with the "M" and "S" buttons and have not been able to restart. Electronics go through startup cycle but blank out and reset as soon as I hit the start switch. Acts like dead battery because frequently the display turns off during boot up. Put charger on battery and it indicates full charge. Any ideas?

I had a similar issue. The battery terminals were not tight enough. Once cleaned and tightened, no more issues.

If the connections are all tight and the cables are good I'd say the battery charger may be telling you a fib.
The battery may only be surface charging.

Just because the terminals are tight does not mean you have a good clean connection. Try cleaning the battery posts and inside clamp. I have had this happen on many vehicles throughout the years. The battery could show good voltage, but if the connections aren't clean,,,,,you probably know the rest of the story.
