i just bought my can am spyder RSS on saturday, after being at the dealer ship for 4 hours it was late night that i was able to get home and park my bike. i also bought the RS foglight kit that they had in stock when i purchased my spyder. the next morning it was raining , so i decided to install the Fog light kit myself since i have been doing mechnic work for quite some time and im pretty good when it comes to things like this. anyway , so after about 6 hours of reading the instructions and carefully making sure i did everything right i connected my fog lights , im almost 100% sure that i did everythign the way it was supose to be done . after connectiong the new harness and fog lights i started to connect the console assemly back , when i noticed that even with the key off the consol still turned on , then after 5 sec of booting, the display started giving me all kinds of errors. such as CHECK Transmission, ABS fault, EBc fault, vss fault, Home MOde... now im freaking out thinking that my bike is all screwed up. pls help me if u know anything let, me know. i just really hope i didnt screw my bike up. and i really hope the dealer can fix this.

Thanks

Okay, take a deep breath.
Everything is probably fine.
I think you did something that we are all guilty of and that is working on electrical without disconnecting the battery.

Here's what I would do.

1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Check to make sure all connectors tight.

Although I'm not sure how but somehow VBatt was applied to the part of the system and that could be because a connector got flipped.

3. Check for the above.
4. reconnect the battery.
