BillyBob...it was great seeing you and Jackie at Smoky's but I am sorry that you feel that this is a competition between two web forums. I go to SITS because of the fellowship I get to enjoy throughout the week. I feel that Lamont schedules his BBQ so as not to interfere with any SpyderTalk events.
I think you are taking this too personally. As you say, it is about the owners, not the web forums or individual personalities. Most of us know how much this means to you and how much of yourself you have put into making SITS an outstanding event. The fact that there are thousands of owners who belong to BOTH forums shows that there is plenty of support to go around
i am sorry to have to say this the billybob has somthing to say

This was our first year attending this event. We appreciate all those involved with the planning and organizing of this for the Spyder owners. For that, we say THANK YOU! I also attended Lamont's BBQ and had a great time and a great ride to his house. I received a personal thank you and an invitation to come back again next year from Lamont himself. I felt the southern hospitality at this event and enjoyed some great food and made some new friends.
If you want to continue to see folks attend this event, I encourage BillyBob to stop complaining and lift up fellow Spyder owners and riders.
I do hope to attend next year and am very appreciative of all the hard work put into this event. If there is anything I can do to help out, just let me know!
Thanks again for a great time in the Smokies!

Folks,
I'm going to close this thread at this point. As I posted on SpyderLovers, Lamont and I are cool and he would say the same. I don't want any negative vibes to take away from an event that was put together for fun and good times.
