I bought a Spyder in Aug. 2009 and love it but my legs and feet (especially the right side) get so hot I almost can't stand it. I have even ridden with my right leg & foot extended on top of the fender (?) and sometimes when I get off the bike my pants are wet from sweat. Anyone else having this problem and how may I correct it?

I would check the clamp on the Y pipe. Could also be the Y pipe gasket, I changed mine out @ 4k miles with the Honda gl gaskets & problem solved.
My gaskets were not bad, but the clamps were so loose that it had blow by.
Hope that helps.

Take the lower vent panel on the right side off and extend the existing deflector for the radiator fan about 3" or so. I used a black plastic trashcan that I cut up. Pop rivet or screw this to the existing cone. Check the fit, you may have to attach a smaller piece to the top to completely redirect the airflow, then seal it with a good sealer. I used E6000 the should help dramatically. Also there is a "missing air dam" being sold that seals around the top and side of the radiator. This works very well. The fan on the radiator is the culprit. I have written BRP about this and they won't even respond. This has been corrected on the new RT's.
