Technically, I rode motorcycles, although I stole Nancy's GS frequently. My road bike is a 2000 BMW R1100RTP...former California Highway Patrol bike. My 1972 BMW R75/5 gets a fair amount of mileage, too. The remaining vintage bikes only get ridden a bit.

My wife rode a Harley in high school, but I don't dare tell anyone how long ago that was. My last bike was a '70 Honda 175 in '77. So I can't qualify myself as a previous rider.

My last official 2-wheeler was a 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan LT (2000 cc's). Have owned 16+ other assorted bikes since 1965, from 80cc up to 2000cc. Sorry, no Harleys, BMW's or Italian bikes--just rice burners. Included, a 1976 Hondamatic 750, a 1984 Yamaha Venture, and a 2003 or 4 Last year of the Kawasaki Voyager before the new version came out last year.

I still have a 2006 Harley Wide Glide but it isn't getting any attention since the RT-S arrived! All my previous bikes for the last 30 years have all been Harleys also, I just felt it was time to turn up the FUN FACTOR and let the Spyder compensate for my aging bones.
