well i have just notice today that i have uneven tyre wear on front wheels, does anyone in oz have or seen the same thing happening to there spyder. Brouhgt my spyder second hand and tyres are factory one. The one on the left looking at the bike is worn more then the one on the right on the inner wheel

can anyone give some in put to this in Australia running tyre presure is 17psi. Will ring dealer tomorrow about it

I would suspect you have an alignment issue. The dealer should be able to fix that easily enough. I tend to run 18-20 psi but I am 100kg and ride with a pillion (50kg)

  • Your Ride:08 can-am Spyder se5 equipment: pillion adjustable pillion back rest, madstad smoked high windscreen,Hindle exhaust, offset rear veiw mirror mounts, 4" riser kit, new seat padding,trunk liner, tbr juice box,kuryakin hand grips, personal number plate "shrpn" caliper trim kit, k & n air filter, Evoluzione red sway bar, alloy handmade panniers fitted to givi mounting bracket with led tail lights reversing light and number plate light fitted to these, body wrapped blue flame grafx with signwriting all done over the grey body area, knee pads, rear reverse light and fitting removed from rear gaurd along with number plate and light.

Hi This is a wheel alingment problem and you may be getting a vauge steering also meaning it wants to dive around and this makes it very tiering to ride {had this problem}. Dealer did an alingment and rechecked the dps for updates. Now easy to ride and no wear. 18 psi front.
