I got $500 PA from Western QBE - different to just QBE apparently.

In NSW you can insure your Spyder with NRMA as a Car.

I have my RT-S Insured for $40,000 AUD with New for Old replacement, for two years and it cost me $440.

(Cost will depend on age and claim record)

Your Ride:08 can-am Spyder se5 equipment: pillion adjustable pillion back rest, madstad smoked high windscreen,Hindle exhaust, offset rear veiw mirror mounts, 4" riser kit, new seat padding,trunk liner, tbr juice box,kuryakin hand grips, personal number plate "shrpn" caliper trim kit, k & n air filter, Evoluzione red sway bar, alloy handmade panniers fitted to givi mounting bracket with led tail lights reversing light and number plate light fitted to these, body wrapped blue flame grafx with signwriting all done over the grey body area, knee pads, rear reverse light and fitting removed from rear gaurd along with number plate and light.

I am also with nrma however mine is for $30,000 and it cost me $550 a big difference to the $1600 I was getting quoted oh btw mine is insured as a work bike not private that is why a slight cost increase.

I tried progressive and formost and they were both over $1000 @year for same coverage i have at $503 @year I have mine insurade in the state of arkansas tho.
