hello all im a newbie here wanting to buy a spyder hey can anyone tell me about the upgrades that r getting done on the bikes like steering and the like also has anyone done work to their bikes to get more powerout of em as they only have 79kws is that enough in your view :TgC_emoticon142: and does anyone no if it mite be expensive to buy a spyder second hand from the usa and import back to australia as ive been lookin for advse but noone can help as yet or wont tell me the costs

  • Your Ride:08 can-am Spyder se5 equipment: pillion adjustable pillion back rest, madstad smoked high windscreen,Hindle exhaust, offset rear veiw mirror mounts, 4" riser kit, new seat padding,trunk liner, tbr juice box,kuryakin hand grips, personal number plate "shrpn" caliper trim kit, k & n air filter, Evoluzione red sway bar, alloy handmade panniers fitted to givi mounting bracket with led tail lights reversing light and number plate light fitted to these, body wrapped blue flame grafx with signwriting all done over the grey body area, knee pads, rear reverse light and fitting removed from rear gaurd along with number plate and light.

Hi I brought a demo 08 silver se5 in October and had some minor steering problems mainly wheel alignment however Prorider did the updates and it is fine now, mind you what your reading about problems and upgrades have happened sometime ago and really you need not worry about those as whatever bike you purchase will come with all the right settings. I have noticed that until they get some k's on them they seem a little rough, I use mine everyday for work stop start stuff allday and it is going well did my 5k service several weeks ago and had some slight changes done and now it runs real nice. Hope you do purchase one they are fun.

kool thanks for the reply yes im looking at one now trying to neg a price and payment as its in another state any way hope i get it so i can join the spyder revalution happy motoring :riding:
