I just have to say! Why would you drag race a spyder with sadddlebags on it? all the added weight! Not to mention his upright riding position creating wind resistence and those big jackets don't help much either. If I was going to race my spyder I would take my trunk off...all the fenders, wear no jacket no matter how cold it is and hunker down! LAME!!!!

I'm sure the owner had a good time, what is your problem with that ?

I hope to do that this year!!!!! I used to drag race cars and miss it. Would love to build my spyder for drag racing.....and then have the RT for other stuff

The silver spyder is Doc from the other site and he was invited up there to drag race for fun.
If he beat the other guy 2 out of 3 times then the other guy would pay his track race fees.
Doc drove around 1,200 miles just to get there in time to have the fun.
Hats off to Doc for being a sport and then traveling so far just to race and then return home all in a weekend or so.
